Day 1

Arrival Day

Thursday

Ambassadors, partners and guests land in Girona and are shuttled to Artu’s Can Terrades lodge, set in the breathtaking Pyrenean foothills just north of Girona itself. Spend the day exploring the 160-acre estate, talking in the vineyards, woodlands and hills, or using the many available facilities. Book in at the spa, have a dip in the pool, get a wellness consultation, sit and read in the lounge or dine on locally sourced food with your fellow lodgers.

Bike tuning and warm-up rides will also take place for the cyclists in the group.

Day 2

Gravel Ride

Friday | 50km

After a preparatory and nutritionally dense breakfast, we’ll take riders to the start line for the 50km gravel ride. You’ll be looked after by Artu team members throughout the race, who’ll be positioned along the route.

Non-cyclists can join the Artu run or trail hike. Both will follow routes in the local hills mapped out to take in the most spectacular landscape and nature in the local area while giving you a thorough workout.

Day 3

Roadbike Ride

Saturday | 120km/180km

It’s the main event day, with riders being pushed to their limits. Riders will either take on the 120km or 180km road loops, depending on experience. A day of endurance and competition, this ride combines the athletic challenge, the personal growth, the connection with nature and the fundraising aspects of Artu together in one great test.

A limited number of non-riders will go up in a hot air balloon taking in the vistas of Girona, the spectacular climbs of the Pyrenees and, if you’re on the lookout, some of the riders racing below.

To go out with a bang and finish the day in style, Artu will throw a celebratory dinner of the finest Catalonian food with live music, dancing and a DJ into the late hours.

Day 4

Departure Day

Sunday

After a restful recovery and a good night’s sleep, guests can enjoy a lazy Sunday before their airport shuttles. For the keen golfers who’ve booked the limited Artu Pro-Am Golf Tournament, you’ll be catching later flights that evening, once the tournament winner is crowned.
